Journée de la Microbiologie – 6ᵉ édition - 27 mai

L’Assemblée Générale de Microbio-NA et la Journée de la Microbiologie de Nouvelle-Aquitaine se tiendront le 27 mai au Domaine du Haut-Carré à Talence.

Cette année, la journée débutera par l’Assemblée Générale de Microbio-NA, un moment clé pour notre communauté afin de discuter des projets en cours et des futures initiatives du réseau.
Elle sera suivie par la Journée de la Microbiologie.

Les intervenants invités cette année sont :

  • Le Dr Philippe Bastin (Institut Pasteur, Paris), spécialiste du cytosquelette des trypanosomes et de son observation grâce à différentes techniques d’imagerie à haute résolution.
  • Le Dr Gaëtan Ligat (Infinity, Toulouse), dont les travaux portent sur le lien entre le cytomégalovirus humain et le glioblastome.
 

Comme chaque année, cette journée mettra en avant la diversité de la recherche en microbiologie dans la région Nouvelle-Aquitaine.

Nous encourageons particulièrement les doctorants et post-doctorants à présenter leurs travaux. Des prix seront décernés pour le meilleur poster et la meilleure présentation orale.

  • Soumission des résumés : du 17 février au 26 avril
  • Clôture des inscriptions administratives : 17 mai

Microbiology Day - 6th edition - May 27th

The Assemblée Générale of Microbio-NA and the Microbiology Day of Nouvelle-Aquitaine will be held on May 27th at the Domaine du Haut-Carré in Talence.

This year, The day will begin with the Microbio-NA Assemblée Générale, an important moment for our community to discuss ongoing projects and future initiatives for the network.

This will be followed by the Microbiology Day.

This year’s invited speakers are:

  • Dr Philippe Bastin (Institut Pasteur, Paris), a specialist in the trypanosome cytoskeleton and its observation using various high-resolution imaging techniques.
  • Dr Gaëtan Ligat (Infinity, Toulouse), whose research focuses on the link between human cytomegalovirus and glioblastoma.
 

As every year, this day will highlight the diversity of microbiology research in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.

We particularly encourage PhD students and Post-docs to present their work. Prizes will be awarded for the best poster and the best oral presentation.

  • Abstract submission is open from 17 February to 26 April
  • Administrative registration closes on 17 May.
