Une nouvelle initiative est mise en place visant à établir un réseau d’interaction entre les chercheurs étudiant les microbiomes des insectes hémiptères vecteurs de bactéries phytopathogènes.
Le projet MICROVEC vise à mieux comprendre et exploiter le microbiome des insectes hémiptères, vecteurs de bactéries phytopathogènes (Xylella fastidiosa, Phytoplasmas, Liberibacter…). En modifiant ces microbiomes, il serait possible de renforcer l’immunité des insectes ou d’introduire des micro-organismes antagonistes pour limiter la propagation des maladies.
Financé par l’INRAE dans le cadre du programme HOLOFLUX, MICROVEC rassemble des chercheurs pour structurer cette recherche émergente. Séminaires, ateliers et conférences favoriseront les échanges et collaborations.

A new initiative is being launched to establish a network of interaction among researchers studying the microbiomes of hemipteran insects that vector phytopathogenic bacteria.
The MICROVEC project aims to better understand and harness the microbiome of hemipteran insects, which serve as vectors for phytopathogenic bacteria (Xylella fastidiosa, Phytoplasmas, Liberibacter, etc.). By modifying these microbiomes, it may be possible to enhance insect immunity or introduce antagonistic microorganisms to limit disease spread.
Funded by INRAE under the HOLOFLUX program, MICROVEC brings together researchers to structure this emerging field of study. Seminars, workshops, and conferences will foster exchanges and collaborations.
