La première édition du festival Néo Terra s’est tenue à Bordeaux, du 28 au 30 novembre 2024, mettant en lumière les grands enjeux de la transition écologique. Organisé autour de conférences, ateliers et animations, cet événement visait à mobiliser citoyens, experts et décideurs autour d’une question centrale : comment accélérer la transformation de nos sociétés pour répondre aux défis climatiques et environnementaux ?
Avec des partenaires comme Le Monde, le festival a proposé un programme riche et varié, allant des tables rondes sur les innovations scientifiques aux performances artistiques inspirées des problématiques environnementales. Dans le cadre de ce festival, l’unité de recherche UMR 1092 RESINFIT a eu l’opportunité de contribuer à l’un des moments forts de l’événement. Marie-Cécile Ploy, Directrice de RESINFIT, est intervenue lors de la table ronde intitulée :
« Santé humaine, animale et végétale : a-t-on tiré les leçons du Covid ? »
Cette conférence, présentée par Claire Mayer, a réuni des experts issus de divers horizons pour explorer les liens complexes entre santé humaine, animale et environnementale.
Ce débat s’inscrit dans la dynamique du concept One Health (Une Seule Santé), qui est au cœur des recherches menées par RESINFIT. Cette approche reconnaît l’interconnexion entre les écosystèmes et les différentes formes de vie, soulignant l’importance de collaborations interdisciplinaires pour prévenir les crises sanitaires et environnementales futures.

The first edition of the Néo Terra festival was held in Bordeaux from November 28 to 30, 2024, highlighting the major challenges of ecological transition. Organized around conferences, workshops and events, the event aimed to mobilize citizens, experts and decision-makers around a central question: how can we accelerate the transformation of our societies to meet climate and environmental challenges?

As part of the festival, the UMR 1092 RESINFIT research unit had the opportunity to contribute to one of the highlights of the event. Marie-Cécile Ploy, Director of RESINFIT, took part in the round table discussion entitled:
“Human, animal and plant health: have we learned the lessons from Covid?”
This conference, presented by Claire Mayer, brought together experts from diverse backgrounds to explore the complex links between human, animal and environmental health.
The debate was part of the dynamic One Health concept at the heart of RESINFIT’s research. This approach recognizes the interconnection between ecosystems and different life forms, underlining the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration to prevent future health and environmental crises.
